BEOL — Bitcoin Economic Optimization Logic — is the Satoshi Institute standard for operating a Bitcoin treasury once the position is on the balance sheet. It covers custody architecture, tax-lot management, fair-value reporting under ASU 2023-08, and liquidity deployment, inside a five-level hierarchy: board policy, regulation, accounting, operations, and only then economic optimization.
